About Us

Monica Madero Barraza, owner and founder of MoMa Cakes, has been making cakes for over 30 years. She discovered her passion and talent as a cake artist when she took several cake decorating courses at a young age. While studying to be an Architect, Monica attended a pastry course in France for six months to perfect her baking skills. For years, being a custom cake designer and baker was a part time job and hobby, but with such great results and high demand, Monica grew her passion into a full time business and MoMa Cakes has been serving the Brazos Valley, TX area since 2017.
